Cursus beschrijving

Learn the basic steps with our expert dance instructors. Our Latin dance classes take place, on days and at times to be determined on the Monday of the first week. Students can enrol for any number of weeks.

This course combines your intensive Spanish course (20 hours per week) with 4 hours per week of Latin dance classes.

The intensive course has 12 different levels in which the students are placed. We follow a very communicative system, where students can practice reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Lessons are from 9 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon with a 20 minute break, around 12.
We use a wide variety of materials, such as textbooks, newspapers, magazines, web pages, etc.

IH Bogotá is de buurt van Bogotá gevestigd en is één van de meest populaire scholen in Colombia. De school specialiseerd in Spaans onderwijzen aan buitenlandse studenten zoals uzelf. De shoolklassen zijn zeer klein (8 maximale studenten) en al de school's docenten spreken Spaans als moedertaal. Zij hebben ook zeer vriendelijke docenten en medewerkers die goed voor u zullen zorgen terwijl u in Bogotá bent.

International House Bogota is located in a smart, modern office building in Los Cedritos district, in the north of the city. This is one of the most attractive areas, with lots of shops, restaurants and bars within metres of the school building. There are also good transport links to the old city centre.

"Cool experience, but some details bored me a little bit"

It's clear that the school has affected by the COVID-19 PANDEMIC. People of International House are very kind. My teacher is very good, I liked my experience a lot. I guess the Salsa classes were not good, because In the most classes I the only one student, and my teacher of salsas was a man.

"Great teacher"

Firstly, my teacher, Julian, was excellent. I had 1:1 classes so he tailored the content to my needs. The classes were interactive and engaging, and my confidence improved a great deal.

As for International House itself, when I arrived they didn't seem to be expecting me so there were some initial confusion. The placement test is not very comprehensive, but they also conduct an interview with the student to help establish their level.
