Cursus beschrijving

One-to-One tuition is the ultimate course for making maximum progress during a short period of time. This is an intensive course which is 100% focused on your English language needs and designed by your teachers to meet your requirements.

One-to-One is the most flexible and personal course available.You'll get more out of this course if:

- You wish to improve your level significantly in a short time.
- You want to have targeted learning in areas of weakness or areas where you are lacking confidence.
- You feel you would benefit from uninterrupted teacher attention.
- You want to build a one on one relationship with an experienced teacher.

You can combine One-to-One tuition with a group course. This gives you the advantage of the interaction of a group in the morning and individually tailored tuition in the afternoon. This is a great way of accelerating your progress.

Maximum flexibility

Feel free to go 'off topic'. A one-to-one lesson is designed for you, by you. Set your own goals for the lesson and one of our friendly English teachers will help you reach them. The flexibility of our teachers allows you to choose the English that you want to learn.

Individual focus

A private English lesson means personalised attention to you - you will receive your teachers undivided attention, receive guidance and feedback that is specific to you and your goals.

Tailored to your needs

Spending so much direct time in contact with your teacher means that he/she will know exactly which areas of your English you need to improve. Working together you will reach your English goal. That's the benefit of such a high level of personalised attention.

Please note that the first day is mainly focused on pre-test and orientation. This is the timetable of the student:

08:30 - Student arrival and check-in
09:00 - Placement test and interviews
11:00 - Welcome breakfast and orientation with various EC staff members
12:00 - Welcome tour of school neighbourhood

Students taking courses with 20 or 24 lessons per week will not have class on the first day due to orientation, while those taking courses with 30 lessons per week will have two classes in the afternoon on the first day after orientation.

De school specialiseerd in Engels onderwijzen aan internationale studenten zoals uzelf en is sinds 1991 gevestigd. De shoolklassen zijn zeer klein (15 maximale studenten) en al de school's docenten spreken Engels als moedertaal. Zij hebben ook zeer vriendelijke docenten en medewerkers die goed voor u zullen zorgen terwijl u in Brighton bent.

Mitre House is a mixed gender residence offering single occupancy of double rooms. All bedrooms have en-suite showering/toilet facilities. Wi-fi is available throughout the building. Rooms share communal kitchen/TV lounges. There is also an exclusive café in the building serving snacks and hot/cold drinks from 08:00 to 20:00.

A Laundry room with coin-operated washing machines and dryers is available on the ground floor with approximate costs of £2.50 for a wash and £1.50 for a dry.

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voor meer dan 11 maanden in de VK studeert, zult u een referentie nummer ontvangen genaamd Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) die u bij de VK ambassade in dient te leveren samen met uw Standaard Studenten Visa aanmeldingsformulier. Studenten die succesvol een talen cursus gereserveerd hebben en die hun kosten betaald hebben zullen een CAS van EC Brighton 30+ ontvangen. Let aub op dat UK wet aangeeft dat een CAS alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden die Engelse taal studies willen gaan doen die meer dan 11 maanden duren.

Indien u voor 11 maanden of minder in de VK studeert, dient u een speciale bezoeker's visa aan te vragen genaamd Student Visitor Visa. Als student bezoeker, zult u niet in staat zijn part-time te werken terwijl u studeert. Indien u van plan bent om 11 maanden of minder in de UK te studeren, zal een acceptatiebrief naar u gestuurd worden tegen geen extra kosten. Indien u uw documenten via express post wilt ontvangen zult u £ 75 in rekening gebracht worden bij uw registratie.
