IFALPES School in Annecy has been welcoming Juniors in the heart of the Alps for several years. Annecy is a top destination for teenagers eager to learn French close to nature and off the beaten track.

French lessons...

...for juniors are carefully organized by language level, ensuring each student receives tailored instruction. With an average of just 14 students per teacher, they prioritize meaningful interaction and practice.

The syllabus and pedagogical materials are specifically designed for young learners, fostering a participative and dynamic classroom environment. Special emphasis is placed on practicing oral French, allowing students to build confidence in speaking while making the learning experience enjoyable and engaging.

In addition to their enriching language lessons, the leisure programme offers teens a fantastic opportunity to explore the beauty of Annecy and engage in a variety of fun activities.

Participants can enjoy thrilling water sports on the stunning Lake Annecy, including paddleboarding and swimming, allowing them to experience the great outdoors firsthand. Nature walks will immerse them in the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the lake.

Social networking is also a key component of the programme. Teens can bond over board games and participate in cooking classes, fostering friendships and creating lasting memories. De school specialiseerd in Frans onderwijzen aan buitenlandse studenten zoals uzelf. De shoolklassen zijn zeer klein (15 maximale studenten) en al de school's docenten spreken Frans als moedertaal. Zij hebben ook zeer vriendelijke docenten en medewerkers die goed voor u zullen zorgen terwijl u in Annecy bent.

The school is situated in the town centre, a 10 minute walk from the central train and bus station.
We are about 15 minutes by foot from the lake and beaches.

Staying with a host family is ideal if you want to discover French culture and deepen your knowledge of the language.
IFALPES works with a network of host families located in Annecy and the surrounding municipalities. Families are rigorously selected and met by our housing department. They sign a Charter of welcome and trust. You will make even more progress in French if you share the life of a French family that will be delighted to share with you.

All our families have Wifi at home.

All stays include an arrival on the Sunday before the course and a departure on the Saturday of the last week of the course. If you wish to arrive or stay an extra night, we ask you to inform the accommodation department as soon as possible so that they can study your request according to the family’s availability.
