Cursus beschrijving

The English Proficiency Program is a twenty-hour per week program for international students. This six-level program is designed to enhance students’ communicative and grammar skills. Students who are enrolled in this program may take morning (i.e. 9-1pm) or afternoon (i.e. 1-5pm) classes from Monday to Friday. The estimated time to complete the entire English Proficiency Program is three years. Please see the curriculum board and your course syllabus for more detailed information about your program’s performance objectives.

Central Pacific College ligt in het prachtige Honolulu, Hawaii, de geboorteplaats van het surfen.

Met Engelse taalcursussen variërend van beginners tot gevorderden, streven we ernaar om ESL-instructie van hoge kwaliteit te bieden aan studenten van alle achtergronden en interesses. We bieden ook testvoorbereidingscursussen in TOEFL en TOEIC, evenals individuele privélessen.

Tijdens de zomer kunnen kinderen van 6-14 jaar deelnemen aan ons gerenommeerde Club Keiki-programma, waar ze de fantastische mogelijkheid hebben om Engels te leren door middel van een verscheidenheid aan leuke activiteiten en excursies in een veilige en gezellige sfeer.

Central Pacific College ligt in Honolulu, Hawaii en op enkele minuten lopen van Winkelcentrum Ala Moana en Strandpark Ala Moana.

visa

Visa assistentie

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voltijd in de Verenigde Staten gaat studeren voor meer dan 18 uur per week, zult u een I-20 ontvangen die u nodig heeft om aan de VS ambassade dient in te leveren samen met uw F-1 studenten visa aanmeldingsformulier. De I-20 heeft een er SEVIS tracking nummer op. Studnten die zich voor een studenten visa willen aanmelden moeten de SEVIS kosten online betalen voordat ze naar de VS ambassade of consulaat gaan voor hun visa interview.

Uw I-20 zal naar uw thuisadres dmv normale post worden gestuurd zonder kosten. Als u uw papierwerk dmv express post wilt ontvangen zult u $120 moeten betalen bij uw registratie.

Let aub op dat de wet in Verenigde Staten aangeeft dat een I-20 alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden aan studenten die voltijd Engelse talen studies willen gaan doen. De Verenigde Staten wet staat studenten niet toe om part-time te werken met een F-1 Studenten Visa. Indien u minder dan 18 uur per week studeert, moet u zich zelf voor een Visitor Visa (B1/B2) aanmelden.
