Cursus beschrijving

The English for Business course is offered as an elective course in the Intensive course of study and helps students to effectively communicate in many business situations. The course consists of 20 lessons of general English, 8 lessons of business English and 7 lessons of structured study each week.

De school specialiseerd in Engels onderwijzen aan internationale studenten zoals uzelf en is sinds 1938 gevestigd. De shoolklassen zijn zeer klein (15 maximale studenten) en al de school's docenten spreken Engels als moedertaal. Zij hebben ook zeer vriendelijke docenten en medewerkers die goed voor u zullen zorgen terwijl u in New York bent.

I liked everything and hope I can come back soon. Met a lot of new people from all over the world, and made new friends. The teachers are extremely helpful, also outside the classes. The building is easy to find at a wonderful location at Central Park. In the classrooms everything is up to date and easy accessible. The student residence in Midtown is nearby several subway stations that go directly to the school location every 10 min. But an 30 min walk to school is also easily possible (thats what I did).

Rooms are equipped with bed, desk, in-room sink and mirrored vanity cabinet, mini refrigerator. Residents have easy access to several shared restrooms with premium, full-privacy stalls and private shower rooms throughout each floor.

Visa assistentie

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voltijd in de Verenigde Staten gaat studeren voor meer dan 18 uur per week, zult u een I-20 ontvangen die u nodig heeft om aan de VS ambassade dient in te leveren samen met uw F-1 studenten visa aanmeldingsformulier. De I-20 heeft een er SEVIS tracking nummer op. Studnten die zich voor een studenten visa willen aanmelden moeten de SEVIS kosten online betalen voordat ze naar de VS ambassade of consulaat gaan voor hun visa interview.

Uw I-20 zal naar uw thuisadres dmv normale post worden gestuurd zonder kosten. Als u uw papierwerk dmv express post wilt ontvangen zult u $100 moeten betalen bij uw registratie.

Let aub op dat de wet in Verenigde Staten aangeeft dat een I-20 alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden aan studenten die voltijd Engelse talen studies willen gaan doen. De Verenigde Staten wet staat studenten niet toe om part-time te werken met een F-1 Studenten Visa. Indien u minder dan 18 uur per week studeert, moet u zich zelf voor een Visitor Visa (B1/B2) aanmelden.
