D.E.L.E DIPLOMA

DELE stands for “Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language”. It is the only official certificate INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED, issued by THE CERVANTES INSTITUTE on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

It is an OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE accrediting the levels of competence and command of the Spanish language.

D.E.L.E EXAM LEVELS

A1 - BASIC USER (1 Initial). Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very simple expressions.

A2 - BASIC USER (2 Initial). Can understand common phrases and expressions on everyday important issues: basic information about family, shopping, local geography, employment...

B1 - INDEPENDENT USER (1 Threshold). Understand the main points of given information in a clear way on familiar topics within its scope such as work, school...

B2 - INDEPENDENT USER (Intermediate 2). Understand the main ideas of complex texts, both on concrete and abstract topics, including technical debates within their specialty.

C1 - COMPETENT USER (1 Advanced). Puede entender una gran variedad de textos de cierto nivel y extensión y reconocer el significado implícito en los mismos.

C2 - COMPETENT USER (2 Mastery). Can easily understand everything read or heard. They can summarize information from different spoken and written sources.
