Cursus beschrijving

Our camp in the beautiful Glarus region offers an inspiring alpine setting in the car-free village of Braunwald — the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable Creative Camp for children and teenagers. Surrounded by nature and breathtaking mountain views, this camp combines artistic expression, imagination, and fun activities in a safe and welcoming environment.

At the Creative Camp, mornings are dedicated to creativity, with engaging workshops where participants explore different artistic disciplines such as painting, drawing, handicrafts, theatre, music, and creative projects. All workshops are conducted in English, allowing children to naturally improve their language skills while expressing themselves creatively.

In the afternoons and evenings, participants enjoy a true holiday experience with a wide range of activities, games, excursions, and social events, ensuring the perfect balance between creativity, outdoor fun, and relaxation.

The camp takes place at the Adrenalin Backpacker Hostel, which offers plenty of space and a friendly atmosphere: large terraces, shared rooms of different sizes, and cozy common areas. There is also a foosball table and a pool table for leisure time. The sunny, car-free Braunwald resort is just a short walk away, making it an ideal and secure location for camps with children and teenagers.

Braunwald is located high above the fog, completely free of cars, peaceful, and perfectly suited for young participants. It can be reached from Zurich in just over an hour, or campers can join our accompanied train transfer from Zurich main station.

The friLingue Creative Camp in Braunwald includes:
- Creative workshops every morning (art, crafts, theatre, music & creative projects)
- Afternoon and evening activity program
- Accommodation with homemade full board
- Excursions and outdoor activities
- Evening entertainment program
- 24/7 supervision and care
- Certificate of participation

Additional costs:
- Insurance – 50 CHF per week
- Laundry service (only available for stays of 2 weeks or more) – 40 CHF
- Special diet (gluten-free, lactose-free, etc.) – 100 CHF
- Check-in assistance – 40 CHF
- Transfer from/to Zurich:
Arrival between 10:00 and 16:00 and departure between 12:00 and 18:00 – 150 CHF each way
Transfers on Sundays outside these hours – 400 CHF each way
Transfers between Monday and Saturday (any time) – 500 CHF each way

School beschrijving

Leysin staat bekend om zijn internationale scholen en zijn kosmopolitische sfeer. Afgezien van de moedertaal, Frans, wordt er ook vaak Engels gesproken in Leysin vanwege de grote Britse en Amerikaanse expatgemeenschap.
Er is ook een bekende hotelschool met studenten van over de hele wereld - evenals een Amerikaanse school.

De lessen worden gegeven in groepen van 6 cursisten. Kleine groepen bieden een efficiënte leeromgeving die gericht is op het individu. U kunt kiezen uit lessen Frans, Engels en Duits. De lessen vinden plaats ma-vr van 9-12.30 uur.

Het hotel beschikt over een binnenzwembad, een sauna en een fitnessruimte. Hier kan men genieten van een verscheidenheid aan recreatieve activiteiten, ontspannen of zich vermaken in de bergachtige omgeving; en genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op bergen en de nabijgelegen gletsjer.

I liked this very much, because i love this language and this feeling. The teachers were happy, funny, good and more.

The location was a hotel in the mountains, but it had a good panorama.
The activities were different and very good. The most of the activities were sporty and creative.

I liked all of this camp.

The teachers were very friendly and nice also in the classes we had a great time we laughed learned and enjoyed the time together. The location was fantastic! The view is beautiful from the hotel and the village was lovely also the people there! We did many activities for example hiking, swimming, basketball football etc. also the people in the camp were so nice!!! I found many new friends and very good friends! And last but not least the camp leader SEBASTIAN he is very nice friendly Funny and the best camp leader at all!

So when my Mom first told me, that i had to go to Leysin for 2 weeks, i wasn't really happy about it, but i met so many amazing people in this camp. I am now happy that my mom sent me there. Also, the teachers were very friendly, and they knew how to teach us right. I've learned a lot in the camp and my French grade went from a 4.4 to a 5.4, so you can see how good the teachers are :)

I think the reason why I've learned so much was also because the teachers didn't only teach us they did a lot of stuff with us when we didn't have school. Also, the activities we did in the camp were absolutely amazing. We played Lazer Tag, went swimming, and other things. It was always loads of fun and relaxing after school.

The hotels where I slept were amazing, for real now. The bed was comfy and clean. and the food was delicious. Up there it says "say what you didn't like", but there's nothing I didn't like.

The camp is amazing and I would visit it again and again. :)

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Uw acceptatiebrief zal gratis naar uw huisadres per normale post worden gestuurd. Indien u uw documentatie per express post wilt ontvangen zal Fr. 250 in rekening gebracht worden bij uw registratie.
