Cursus beschrijving

Our General English Courses are ideal for students who use English for everyday purposes.

Our General English course with 16 hours per week is our shortest course and is offered at 7 different levels. It's perfect for those who have no or little knowledge of the English language as well as for anyone who aims to combine studying with exploring a new destination. Lessons take place in the morning, leaving enough time to explore the treasures of Cape Town in the afternoon. With no class on Friday, long weekend excursions are a must-do.
Homework is given 3 - 4 times per week.

Afternoon combination possibilities: 5 or 10 group or private lessons, volunteering, surf course.

You can expect to:

- practise your reading and listening skills
- develop your vocabulary and grammar
- communicate more effectively and accurately
- practise speaking and writing
- use English to exchange ideas with people from other countries.

The lessons are based around a coursebook, and adapted to the class.

Bij Good Hope Studies is het geven van lessen van een hoge standaard onze prioriteit en ons doel is dat onze klanten Kaapstad verlaten met meer zelfvertrouwen en een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal. Om deze lessen te ondersteunen, bieden we accommodatie en een sociaal programma, en veel van onze klanten gebruiken deze diensten om hun Engels te oefenen.

De meeste van onze leraren zijn in vaste dienst en hebben CELTA- of DELTA-onderwijskwalificaties van Cambridge ESOL. Ook hebben ze jarenlange ervaring met het lesgeven aan verschillende nationaliteiten en niveaus en weten hoe ze leren niet alleen leuk, maar ook zeer effectief kunnen maken.

Onze Engelse taalschool is gevestigd in een prachtig historisch gebouw in het centrum van Kaapstad.
Hier kun je studeren in een rustige leeromgeving, maar als je naar buiten stapt, voel je de drukte van het stadsleven en geniet je van de multiculturele mix waar Kaapstad zo bekend om staat.
