Living
Single en-suite and single standard rooms available with shared bathroom ratio of around 1:5 students
Washbasins in all standard rooms
Room furniture includes a wardrobe, desk and chair
Rooms are cleaned weekly
Shared student bathrooms cleaned daily
Laundry available on-site, £2.80 per wash and £1.30 to dry
Meals are served in a large dining hall
Our spacious Activity Club is opened daily until 22.30 with sofas, TV and games for students. There are also benches outside in an enclosed green courtyard for socialising.
Wi-Fi is available across all areas

Dining & facilities
Royal Holloway is a nut free centre and no foods/snacks with nuts are allowed, very safe for students with allergies.

Breakfast

Breakfast consists of 3 days with English Breakfast and 4 days with Continental Breakfast per week.

Lunch

Lunch includes a choice of 3 hot meals (one vegetarian) with salad bar, fruit, dessert and bread roll.

Packed lunches (on weekends): sandwich, water, crisps, fruit and cake.

Evening Meal

Dinner includes a choice of 3 hot meals (one vegetarian) with salad bar, fruit, dessert and bread roll.

Snacks

Vending machines offer drinks and snacks.

20 x 45 minute lessons per week morning or afternoon
Placement test on day 1 to ensure students in appropriate level

Programme
Arrival

Coaches arrive next to the canteen in the car park where groups are met by centre staff before being registered and checked into their rooms.

Welcome

On the first evening there will be a welcome activity which is designed to ensure students have the opportunity to meet staff and other students and get to know more about the campus, its facilities and useful information which will help them during their stay.

Activities

Activities are organised every Monday to Friday and every evening all week, for students not on a prepaid excursion or any additional optional trips. These activities could be on-site or near to the centre. These may include:

Sports such as football, mini Olympics, rounders, table tennis, volleyball and basketball
Daytime activities such as scavenger hunts and drama workshops
Evening activities such as karaoke, talent show and team games

Getting to and From School Activities

Our students travel by coach or train for all activities and excursions outside the centre.

EC London - Royal Holloway is in Londen gevestigd en is één van de meest populaire scholen in VK. De school specialiseerd in Engels onderwijzen aan internationale studenten zoals uzelf en is sinds 1991 gevestigd. De klasgrootte is ook zeer klein in vergelijking met andere scholen. Zij hebben ook zeer vriendelijke docenten en medewerkers die goed voor u zullen zorgen terwijl u in Londen bent.

The campus is closed and secure, ideal for younger students and offers a mix of single en-suite and standard rooms, as well as a large activity room for communal use.

visa

Visa assistentie

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voor meer dan 11 maanden in de VK studeert, zult u een referentie nummer ontvangen genaamd Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) die u bij de VK ambassade in dient te leveren samen met uw Standaard Studenten Visa aanmeldingsformulier. Studenten die succesvol een talen cursus gereserveerd hebben en die hun kosten betaald hebben zullen een CAS van EC London - Royal Holloway ontvangen. Let aub op dat UK wet aangeeft dat een CAS alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden die Engelse taal studies willen gaan doen die meer dan 11 maanden duren.

Indien u voor 11 maanden of minder in de VK studeert, dient u een speciale bezoeker's visa aan te vragen genaamd Student Visitor Visa. Als student bezoeker, zult u niet in staat zijn part-time te werken terwijl u studeert. Indien u van plan bent om 11 maanden of minder in de UK te studeren, zal een acceptatiebrief naar u gestuurd worden tegen geen extra kosten.
