Cursus beschrijving

The Course "Cucina di Classe"

The course is held from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:30 and is structured in two parts:

- the first part, from 09:00 to 11:00, includes two hours of Italian language lessons focused on Italian cuisine and useful vocabulary in the kitchen; helps our participants with the theoretical-practical part;

- at 11.15am, after a 15 minute break, the second part of the course begins and students will take part in the preparation of the menu planned for the day and will have the opportunity to learn the basic techniques of Italian cuisine.

At the end of each lesson the students will taste the dishes they prepared.

I LESSON
Italian course: Italian language used in the kitchen: verbs, adjectives and substantives used in the kitchen. Tools used in the kitchen. Jobs and professions: the chef.
Cooking lesson: BREAD AND PIZZA
II LESSON
Italian course: The history of pasta, the different types of pasta, pasta and festivities.
Cooking lesson: FRESH HAND-MADE PASTA
III LESSON
Italian course: Read recipes, give instructions, describe ingredients, read and understand a menu. The most important Italian restaurants and bars.
Cooking lesson: VEGETABLES, RICE AND RISOTTI
IV LESSON
Italian course: Express quantity, types of fish, the Mediterranean Diet.
Cooking lesson: MEAT
V LESSON
Italian course: Culture and taste
Cooking lesson: FISH AND SEAFOOD

Accademia Leonardo is een van de populairste Italiaanse taalscholen in Italië.
Het doel van de school is om de studenten de Italiaanse taal en cultuur te leren en uit te breiden, door ze te laten begeleiden door onze docenten die zijn geselecteerd op basis van hun toewijding, professionaliteit, communicatieve vaardigheden en persoonlijkheid.

Het primaire doel van onze cursussen is om de taalvaardigheid te verbeteren zodat studenten zich op een efficiënte en coherente manier in de juiste context in de juiste taal kunnen uitdrukken.
Onze cursussen motiveren de student om de Italiaanse taal zowel binnen als buiten het klaslokaal te gebruiken en bereid hen voor op interactie in alledaagse situaties.

School locatie

Accademia Leonardo is gevestigd in een historisch gebouw in het centrum van de stad Salerno.
De ene kant van de school kijkt uit over de botanische tuin van de stad en het Verdi theater, de andere kant over de Golf van Salerno en het kasteel van Prins Arechi.
De ligging van de school is ideaal met restaurants, pizzeria's, winkels en stranden op slechts een steenworp afstand.
Accademia Leonardo verwelkomt studenten in een warme en vertrouwde omgeving. In onze klaslokalen, gekleurd en versierd met fresco-schilderijen, hangt een vrolijke en enthousiaste sfeer, ideaal voor het leren van een nieuwe taal. De school verwelkomt het hele jaar door studenten van over de hele wereld.

"Wonderful people, wonderful city."

This experience was great. The classroom was a piece of art. The teacher was really efficient and super friendly. The location of the school is simply dreamy. The housing was amazing.
As you can see we loved our experience. The only negative side was that it was not possible for us the contact our housing host before getting there. Since I am traveling with a 11 year old daughter, I was a little scared by that.
No worries once we got there, though. My troubles were gone.
But still not being able to speak to her before did stress me a bit.
Over all, the best experience of my life.
